Instructional Teaching - Long Term Substitute (3.5 months)

St. Mark’s Episcopal School in Houston, Texas is  seeking a long term substitute for our 1st grade program. The Instructional Teaching Assistant supports two 1st grade classrooms. The position begins mid-November and continues through the end of February. 

Qualifications:
Experience teaching and working with children ages 6-8. College degree in education or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities:
Supervising and supporting the learning of students in the classroom, on the playground, at lunch, and during all aspects of the school day. Preparing materials for the classroom and meeting the planning needs as determined by the two lead teachers.

Hours:
7:30 AM - 3:45 PM.
