St. Mark’s Episcopal School in Houston, Texas is seeking a creative, energetic and organized, team player to serve as the Lower School Athletics Coordinator.

 

The primary job of an athletics coordinator at St. Mark’s is to work with the Athletic Director to support student growth and skill development through intra and inter school athletics.

 

Other responsibilities will include: those duties associated with athletics within the lower school (i.e. helping to promote the growth of the athletic program for the lower school, coordinating athletic schedules for practices and events, supervision of school facilities during practices and competitions, attending coordinators meetings for athletic associations, supervising the registration and division of teams within sports, any and all other duties requested by the Athletic Director of the school). As a member of the faculty, the athletics coordinator is expected to support the mission and philosophy of the school. Experience guiding children between the ages of five and nine in a school setting along with an education degree is preferred.  The position begins on August 1, 2019.
