Episcopal High School of Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced development professional.  The successful candidate, in concert with our new Head of School, Board Development Committee, and the Director of Advancement, will further enhance aspects of Episcopal’s development efforts.  Areas of responsibility will include Annual Fund, Major Gifts, and donor relations, as well as accountability for gift processing, acknowledgment and record keeping.

Director of Admissions

This position reports directly to the head of school and will work closely with the lower and middle school division heads. Responsibilities include all parts of the admission process including initial contact with applying families, school tours, application forms, interviews, school visits and observations, open houses, admission committee decisions, and final acceptances. Candidates should have some experience working in schools and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Experience in independent schools, in the admissions process, and a master’s degree is preferred but not required. A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered.

This senior, full-time position reports to the head of school. This individual will lead and coordinate all aspects of a comprehensive annual giving and capital campaign program. The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced leader with a demonstrated track record as a successful fundraiser. Advancement Director

St. John’s seeks an Advancement Director to elevate the office as the school is poised to take the next exciting steps in its institutional evolution. This person will assess, evaluate and implement a plan for needs of the office. The Advancement Director is responsible for overseeing and executing the school’s development activities. The program includes annual giving, capital giving (endowment and special projects), planned giving, foundation relations, alumni and grandparent relations, donor stewardship and communications. Reporting to the Head of School, the Advancement Director supervises a current team of four: Director of Annual Giving, Database Manager, Director of Special Events and Parent Relations, and Director of Communications.

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, a small and nurturing PK-8 school in Uptown New Orleans and the oldest Episcopal school in the city, is seeking a Development Coordinator effective immediately.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: All School fundraising efforts including annual, capital, and major giving; special events; grant writing; alumni relations; and parent relations. Duties will include managing the donor and alumni database, producing fundraising reports, processing and acknowledging donations, data entry, and correspondence relating to fundraising.
