Regardless of size or ages of students served, it is best practice for Episcopal parish day schools to have bylaws that establish effective governing roles and responsibilities. Using the not-separately-incorporated Episcopal school as the baseline, this webinar will examine the key components of parish day school bylaws, including examples, with a focus on:
  • the purpose of parish day school bylaws</li<li>Episcopal identity and the bylaws
  • delineating the appropriate roles and responsibilities of the rector, vestry, head, and school board; and
  • key elements every set of bylaws should include

This webinar is designed for directors, rectors/vicars/deans, and board and vestry members at parishes, cathedrals or seminaries having an Episcopal school as part of their ministry.

Cancellation and Other Policies:

Written cancellations received by fax, 212.286.9366, or by e-mail, djs@episcopalschools.org, on or before 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Tuesday, April 26, 2011 are entitled to a full refund, less a $10 processing fee. Requests received after this deadline or by any means other than fax or e-mail will not be entitled to a refund of any kind.

All registrations are subject to acceptance.

Registrations must be fully paid prior to 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in order to guarantee participation in this webinar. NAES accepts only Visa and MasterCard for online or telephone registrations; payment by check is not accepted. If full payment is not be received by this deadline, then the registration will be canceled and the seat made available to the next individual on the waiting list, if any.

Registrations are NOT transferable.

Any and all liability of the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES) with respect to registration, cancellations, changes in the content of the program, technology breakdowns, and refunds is limited to a sum no greater than the registration fee paid.
