Service-Learning in Episcopal Schools
Tuesday, May 8, 2012 (2pm - 3:15pm US/Eastern)
2:00-3:15 p.m. (EDT)
Service-learning in Episcopal schools is grounded in the Baptismal Covenantâs call âto seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourselfâ and to âstrive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being.â How can Episcopal schools make real these promises? This webinar will explore a theology of service-learning and outline key components of service-learning programs that can result in substantive and transformative service experiences for students of all ages.
