The United States is the most religiously diverse country in the world. How can we help students to appreciate the depth and complexity of this rich religious landscape? The Interfaith Center of New York and an experienced Episcopal school chaplain and teacher of religion will present a framework for the teaching of world religions that incorporates "lived religions" as a way to better understand the religious lives and world views of our neighbors of various faiths. Applicable to grades 6-12.

All you will need to participate is a telephone and a computer with a high-speed Internet connection; no downloads are required!

Teachers of world religion, history, the humanities, and other departments or interdisciplinary courses in grades 6 -12 that address various religious traditions and beliefs; and those who would like to learn more about this topic.
