Event Overview

Are you discerning a call to Episcopal school headship? The Jonathan T. Glass Institute for Future Leaders is designed for educators who want to explore what it means to lead an Episcopal school in today’s complex landscape. Whether you currently serve in an Episcopal school or another independent school setting, this gathering offers space to learn, reflect, and connect.

We hope you will join us for what promises to be a thoughtful, engaging, and meaningful experience.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will explore the full scope of contemporary school headship; examine how Episcopal identity shapes leadership in parish, cathedral, diocesan, and independent school settings; and gain clarity on the steps and processes involved in a head of school search. The Institute also invites participants to engage questions of leadership in morally challenging times and to reflect deeply on their own sense of vocation—whether headship is the right next step, and what faithful leadership might look like for them.

Community & Experience

Through shared meals, worship, and informal conversation, participants will build a supportive network of colleagues and friends to draw on both personally and professionally. You will leave the Institute refreshed, encouraged, and better prepared for the journey of discernment ahead.
