St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School ( seeks an experienced admission professional to support all areas of the enrollment management process at St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School. The candidate must be an energetic self-starter who is willing to work collaboratively and independently. Excellent time-management and organizational skills are required. Frequent regional and national travel will be expected. The Assistant or Associate Director of Admission will establish and maintain collegial relationships among all school constituents. This position reports to the Director of Admission and Financial Aid.

Candidates should have knowledge of the admission process as it relates to the independent school admission profession – including outstanding customer service experience. All applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants with prior admission experience and familiarity with independent boarding school experience are preferred. Additional responsibilities may include serving as an advisor, leading weekend activities, helping with weekend and evening campus supervision, and leading class trips, retreats, and special events throughout the year.

The responsibilities of this specific position include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain the admission database, keep statistics, and provide analytical reports on the admission and re-enrollment processes
  • Respond to and manage admission candidates from inquiry to enrollment
  • Schedule and create personalized campus visits
  • Assist in planning and running admission events
  • Conduct interviews and tours of campus
  • Assist in recruiting efforts off-campus – travel to school fairs and educational consultants in the southeastern United States
  • Direct the student ambassador program
  • Assist with general administrative duties as assigned

Compensation – Salary and title are dependent on education and experience. Benefits include a tuition remission plan, health and dental insurance, worker’s compensation, short-term and long-term disability, group life insurance, retirement plan, and eligibility for grants for professional enrichment and continuing education.
