Saint James School is an international college preparatory high school seeking an athletic trainer who is board certified and licensed in the state of Maryland. This is a full-time salaried position requiring 40hrs/week. The Athletic Trainer must be willing to work irregular hours, including evening and Saturday sporting events. The Athletic Trainer will work directly as part of a team that consists of The Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Director, the School Nurse Practitioner, and coaches to manage the athletes’ acute or chronic musculoskeletal injuries.
EXPECTATIONS:
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Training in Blood Borne Pathogens
- Bachelor’s degree in athletic training
- 1-year relevant experience
- Ability to provide prevention and treatment of injuries
- Maintain the daily operations of the athletic training facilities
