 DESCRIPTION: 

The Church Farm School seeks a Director of Enrollment Management to oversee and advance the CFS Admission effort and office functions. This is a prominent, full-time administrative position, serving on the school’s leadership team and reporting to the Head of School, while working closely with other colleagues to oversee recruitment, enrollment and overall student experience and success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Organization and oversight of the Admission team and office including the systematic and efficient processing of inquiries and applications
  • Effectively present the school to the greater local, national and international community
  • Work directly with the Director of Marketing and Communications to successfully market the school to new and existing constituencies
  • Regular and timely communication with candidates and families effectively inviting them into and moving them through the enrollment process
  • Interviewing candidates and their parents; arranging for admission testing; securing necessary student credentials (visa paperwork for international students); and timely communicating final decisions to the appropriate individuals
  • Facilitate and lead the student success and marketing committee
  • Ability and willingness to lead and support DEI initiatives
  • Manage the re-enrollment of current students (attrition rate) for the succeeding year
  • Maintain existing relationships with a continued effort to build new productive relationships with feeder schools and other organizations that work with those particular applicants CFS seeks to attract
  • Creation and sound management of the enrollment budget, marketing materials, mailings and publications
  • Organize and administer, with the Head of School, the school’s unique Financial Aid program
  • Evaluate and redesign, where appropriate, all aspects of the enrollment and marketing effort to maintain a capacity enrollment of qualified students and a wait-list of qualified applicants
  • Coordinate enrollment volunteers such as students, parents, former parents and alumni to assist in the enrollment effort
  • Maintain and report relevant records and statistics on all aspects of the enrollment and re-enrollment program to the Head of School and Board of Directors
  • Be prepared to travel extensively representing the school at various gatherings, fairs and conferences; locally, regionally and internationally
  • Effective professional and proactive participation as member of the Administrative Team assuming relevant duties and as assigned by the Head of School

Must Have:

We will consider for an interview only those applicants who possess:

  • BA; Master’s degree is strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years secondary and residential school experience
  • Culturally competent with an understanding of DEI practices
  • Passion for CFS and its mission with a strong affinity for residential education
  • Proven effectiveness in recruiting a diverse student body at the secondary or undergraduate level
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively administer and mentor an Admission office and also support leadership across all levels of school operations
  • Capacity and experience managing a budget based on tuition revenue goals and a need-based financial aid program
  • Ability to create, develop and sustain an international program
  • Demonstrated ability to lead pre-adolescent and adolescent boys
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Boundless energy with a warm, personable and professional manner
  • Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours in the admission cycle and to meet other administrative needs in a residential school setting
  • Facility with digital marketing and online recruiting strategies and methods
  • Familiarity with Blackbaud and related software, database management and oversight
