The ideal candidate will be a passionate, mission-driven educator who combines deep expertise in learning
differences with the vision and determination to build a premier program from the ground up. This
individual will not only understand how bright, capable students learn differently but will also be an
unwavering advocate for their potential; ensuring they are challenged, supported, and fully seen.
The successful candidate will bring a proven record of designing or leading programs that serve students
with dyslexia or other language-based learning differences, demonstrating both instructional mastery and
the ability to inspire faculty and families. Warmth, empathy, and integrity must be matched by intellectual
curiosity, lofty expectations, and strategic leadership. Above all, this person will believe that students who
learn differently are not defined by their challenges, but by their creativity, resilience, and capacity to thrive
when given the right environment and support.
Qualifications Include:
● Master’s degree or higher in education, special education, literacy, or a related field
● Training and deep knowledge of Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, and other structured literacy approaches
● Experience designing or leading programs for students with dyslexia or similar profiles.
● Demonstrated success in building and managing teams, curriculum design, and student-centered
innovation.
● Ability to communicate effectively and inspire confidence among teachers, parents, and students
