St. Martin’s Episcopal School is looking for an Early Childhood Infant Program Front Desk/Floater support person to work in our Early Childhood Infant Program at the new High Point Campus starting June 2021. This position will provide administrative support for the Infant program and the Principal. The Front Desk/Floater also works with parents, trustees, administrative staff, faculty, and students in a variety of roles. This position requires professional judgment, discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality. We seek candidates who support our mission and are culturally competent and responsive. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- rotating throughout classrooms and school building as needed
- greeting, welcoming, screening, and directing visitors appropriately
- maintaining student attendance and substitute teacher log
- handling of daily mail and internal mailboxes
- ordering supplies
- assisting with car pool management and communications
- other duties as assigned
This position reports to, and works closely with, the principal and with all Faculty/Staff to serve our students, parents, and school community.
Qualified candidates will have childcare experience as well as 2-4 years of experience in an administrative support role with a focus on customer support. Independent school experience is preferred. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position, Monday-Friday. Hours may vary based on need, but could be as early as 7:15am and as late as 6:15pm. Pay is commensurate with experience and some benefits are included.
