Interim Associate Director of Admissions (Grades 6-12)

Available immediately until mid-June 2024

40 hours/week plus limited evenings and weekends

The Opportunity:

The Admission Office of St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School seeks an immediate full time Interim Associate Director of Admission to join its grades 6-­12 admission team. The Associate Director reports to the Dean of Enrollment & Strategic Marketing but will work most closely with the Directors of Middle and Upper Schools Admission and the larger admission team across all three campuses. The Associate Director will be responsible for swift and strategic follow up with all inquiries, manage a pool of Upper School applications, and be the primary liaison between the admission and athletic offices. This is a fully in-person, on-campus position that requires frequent travel between campuses.

  • Has strong written and interpersonal communication skills, balanced with warmth, professionalism, and accuracy.

What Will You Do?

  • Follow up immediately by telephone and email with all inquiries grades 6­-12
  • Manage a grades 9­-12 applicant pool, from inquiry to enrollment
  • Interview students and meet with families on multiple campuses
  • Oversee, train, and organize the student tour guide program
  • Provide exceptional customer service and experience
  • Meet or exceed new student enrollment targets in grades 6-­12
  • Liaise with athletic directors and coaches regarding student athlete recruitment
  • Represent SSSAS and speak of the Saints mission at external events
  • On­ campus event management
  • Develop yield plans for individual applicants
  • Provide tours of campus
  • Greet and settle guests as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated, measurable success and experience in admission, recruitment, fundraising or sales
  • CRM / Database experience
  • Independent school experience as a parent, student or employee
  • Professional appearance and behavior associated with a luxury brand
  • Evidence of exceptional customer service
  • Ability to tour, climb stairs, lift packages and supplies
  • Undergraduate degree in an appropriate field

Terms

  • Temporary / 40 hour work week begins immediately until mid-June 2024
  • Limited evenings and weekend hours required
  • Summer employment possible with Admission or other offices / programs
  • Interim candidates are welcome to apply for the permanent position in Spring 2024
