Middle and Upper Division Library Assistant

Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking a dynamic Library Assistant for grades 6-12 for the 2022-2023 school year. The Library Assistant will work collaboratively with the library staff in the Jean Ann Cone library and the Frederick Learning Commons to plan promotions, catalogue using Destiny, process books, manage inventory and work with the other librarians on special projects as needed.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree, and prior library experience would be a plus. A good sense of humor, a positive outlook, and an appreciation of the unique qualities of the age group are essential.

Compensation and Benefits:
The appointment will begin August 2022 and is a full-time position with full benefits. The compensation package will be very competitive nationally and commensurate with experience, degree attainment, and the national independent school and college markets.
