An established Episcopal day school, St. George’s Episcopal School is located 50 miles south of metropolitan Atlanta, and is situated on over 40 acres in Milner, Ga.  SGES is a dynamic PK–12th grade school with an enrollment of over 270 students from 6 counties.  With a long-standing tradition of academic excellence, SGES strives to enroll children from diverse cultural, ethnic, economic, and religious backgrounds.

We are currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our Upper School History department. The ideal candidate will be flexible in teaching a variety of courses, with preferred experience in teaching AP Human Geography, AP Psychology, European History, American History, American Government and World History.  SGES values collaboration, creativity, flexibility, practical applications, and a student-centered educational experience grounded in professional relationships and well-established rapport with students. The position is full-time in nature. Candidates with independent school teaching experience are preferred.
