St. Elizabeth’s School takes its roots from the values and traditions of the Episcopal Church: equity, social justice, intellectual curiosity, and compassion. To that end, with the support of the National Association of Episcopal Schools, St. E’s turns the traditional school model on its head. By intentionally creating an economically balanced school community—and then supporting the health and vibrancy of that community with highly trained teachers and specialized resources—St. Elizabeth’s proves it is possible to equitably educate students from a variety of backgrounds. Taking it one step further, St. Elizabeth’s sliding scale tuition model even capitalizes on this opportunity by creating a community where all students learn from and with each other.
As students graduate, they often attend their first-choice high school. Our alumni go on to be successful both in high school and college. Emily, a recent alum, shared this about her St. E’s experience, “I love how close the St. Elizabeth’s community is and how much of a privilege it is to go to school knowing that every day will be a good day because of the amazing teachers and people at St. E’s.” Another alumna, Yahaira, shared, “Because St. Elizabeth’s has the sliding scale tuition, I got the opportunity to be a part of this school, which is amazing. And I’m forever grateful to the people who donated for that because they really changed my life, St. E’s changed my life.
St. E’s deeply appreciates the support of the National Association of Episcopal Schools and the EUSA funding. These funds help support a school, community devoted to equity, social justice, intellectual curiosity, and compassion.
