Description:
What are the key roles and responsibilities of a trustee or school committee member in an Episcopal school? How are these similar to or different from those of a non-sectarian independent school or early childhood education program trustee? And how can Episcopal school trustees articulate and steward the school's Episcopal identity, including its governing relationship with a sponsoring organization such as a parish, cathedral or diocese?

The webinar is designed for both new and experienced trustees or school committee members of all types and sizes of Epsicopal schools. Rectors, heads of school, vestry members, and diocesan staff may find it equally useful in better understanding the crtiical role trustees play in sustaining healthy and vibrant Episcopal schools.

All you will need to participate is telephone and computer with a high-speed Internet connection; no downloads are required!

Non-member Registrations: Written cancellations received by fax, 212.286.9366, or by e-mail, djs@episcopalschools.org, on or before 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Thursday, November 3, 2011 are entitled to a full refund, less a $10 processing fee. Requests received after this deadline or by any means other than fax or e-mail will not be entitled to a refund of any kind.

All registrations: Any and all liability of the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES) with respect to registration, cancellations, changes in the content of the program, technology breakdowns, and refunds is limited to a sum no greater than the registration fee paid.
