Moving from talking about taking care of ourselves to actually doing it is not easy and often gets sidelined because of all the demands of on us in our professional and personal lives. The good news is that there are effective strategies that we can use. This webinar will explore ways that we can sustain our health and resiliency. Special guest presenter will be Dr. Patricia Fosarelli, Adjunct Instructor of Pastoral Theology at St. Mary’s Seminary and University.
About Our Presenter
Dr. Pat Fosarelli received her M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, her M.A. in Theology from St. Mary's Seminary & University (Baltimore), and her D.Min. from Wesley Theological Seminary (Washington, D.C.). She was an Associate Dean at St. Mary’s Ecumenical Institute and is currently the Director of the M.A. in Christian Ministries program. At St. Mary’s, she teaches in the practical theology and spirituality departments. Over the years, Dr. Fosarelli has served on the faculty of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (Department of Pediatrics), in both full-time and (currently) part-time capacities. She has served as a pastoral associate and director of religious education at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church (Baltimore) between 2001 and 2008. Dr. Fosarelli is the author of 12 books in the medical and theology/ministry fields, several pamphlets in theology/ministry, and numerous articles in the medical and theology fields. She has served as a regular book reviewer for the Journal of the American Medical Association.Dr. Fosarelli is a well-known retreat leader, as well as presenter on a variety of topics in the spirituality/theology and health/medicine fields. She has worked with pastoral staffs, pastoral councils, and other church bodies, especially in the areas of trauma & healing; visioning; and conflict resolution.
