An Orientation to Episcopal Schools for New Board Chairs and Trustees

Spring is a time for welcomes and farewells for Episcopal school board of trustees. Support new trustees and board chairs with this orientation to Episcopal school governance: what is the role of the board in sustaining Episcopal identity? How is an Episcopal school board similar to or different from that of other independent schools? What should every board member know about the mission of Episcopal schools?

Laptop or desktop participants will need a telephone, Internet access, and a computer that meets the ReadyTalk system requirements. ReadyTalk also offers you a way to test your computer.

Who Should Attend:Ideal for new trustees (including rectors, vestry members, or parishioners) and board chairs of all types and sizes of Episcopal schools: parish/cathedral, diocesan, and independent Episcopal schools, early childhood programs through grade twelve.

Non-member registrants are entitled to a full refund less a $15 processing fee. Requests received after 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Friday, June 13, 2014, or by any means other than fax or email will not be entitled to a refund of any kind.
Any and all liability of the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES) with respect to registration, cancellations, changes in the content of the program, technology breakdowns, and refunds is limited to a sum no greater than the registration fee paid.
