DESCRIPTION: St. Paul’s School announces a search for a position of chaplain to begin duties in August 2024. This individual will join a team of Episcopal and interfaith chaplains. The chaplain’s primary responsibilities will include sharing in the ministry of the chaplaincy and teaching in one of the academic divisions, preferably in Humanities. Responsibilities might also include the following: pastoral counseling; advising fellowship groups; overseeing social justice initiatives; or coordinating one of our many relationships with outside organizations and communities.

In addition to chaplaincy, teaching, or administrative responsibilities, faculty at St. Paul’s School are responsible for a variety of activities typical to the boarding school environment, including advising, dormitory association, coaching, committee work and other duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree (or higher) and ordination as a priest in the Episcopal church preferred with at least three years of experience in ministry, preferably in an Episcopal school.

SALARY: Competitive, based on experience.
