JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Admissions Associate is involved in numerous aspects of Admissions and is responsible for processing and maintaining all phases of the applicant records. This individual helps ensure applicant parents/caregivers benefit from open lines of communication with Beauvoir and communicates by example the values of the school. This individual works in collaboration and partnership with the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Salary Range: of $70,000 – $80,000 depending on education and experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

  • Participating in visits for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten applicants and supports the organizational needs of and preparation for those visits.
  • Managing day-to-day maintenance of Ravenna® application system which may include processing applicant forms/files, data entry, tracking applicant progress, online event setup, and admissions committee review preparation.
  • Organizing all aspects of prospective parent/caregiver events (School Fairs, Open Houses, Tours, Parent Caregiver Meetings, etc.) and participates in those events.
  • Arranging for and participating in visits for applicants and meetings for parents/caregivers.
  • Managing the applications for first – third graders creating excel sheets, organizing their visits as needed and communicating with families.
  • Maintains information management and conducts Admissions responsibilities such as creating Excel spreadsheets, tracking Ravenna statistics and admissions queries, sending various communications including emails and notification letters using Ravenna.
  • The position requires attending and leading various events in the evening and on weekends
  • Providing telephone, email, direct mail, and in-person and virtual support to all families making inquiries and applications to Beauvoir, sometimes serving as the initial and primary contact between families and the Admissions and Financial Aid Office
  • Creating and developing internal and external recruitment communications to a wide range of constituencies.
  • Involvement with Admissions Committees (prepare profiles, materials, excel sheets, and information, as needed ect).
  • Submitting food and facilities requests for all admissions tours and events, ordering and update office materials and supplies
  • Manage admissions calendar and monitor online tour and meeting appointments
  • Supports and helps to manage the summer rollover process of the Ravenna® platform to begin a new admissions season in collaboration with the Team.
  • Prepare online notifications in Ravenna® as well as physical acceptance packets for admitted students, also handle mailings throughout the year as needed
  • Exhibits a keen ability to work in partnership and collaboration with the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid and the Admissions Team, to learn and grow, and to be an advocate for Beauvoir.

  • Participates in other school activities including (but not limited to) covering lunch duty periodically, working with a “buddy” class, participating in school-wide training and planning, and professional development.

  • Possess a high-level of technological skills, database management, and ability to learn and assume responsibility for projects.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including mail merging.
  • Experience with various platforms is highly desirable and can include Blackbaud, Clarity, and Ravenna.
  • Possess a high level of technological expertise as well as excellent attention to detail.

WORKING CONDITIONS (SCHEDULE, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND WORK ENVIRONMENT):

  • Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, and stooping.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequent grasping, repetitive hand movements, and fine motor skills.
  • Physical Strength: Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
