The conference will take place at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina.
Biennial Conference 2008 will feature the Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, Ph.D., Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church, as the Opening Eucharist celebrant and preacher. Parker J. Palmer, Ph.D., the renowned education thinker, will offer three plenary addresses and two workshops. The conference schedule also includes a community service project, other worship and a total of 60 special focus sessions and workshops over two-and-one-half days.
Biennial Conference, held in the fall of even number calendar years, is the premier gathering of Episcopal school leaders from around the Episcopal Church, as well as a small but growing number of leaders from other parts of the Anglican Communion. The conference’s professional development opportunities are designed to support and strengthen the leadership and governance of our schools and the articulation of their Episcopal identity. All of this is for the ultimate benefit of the students they educate.
