Spreading the Fruit of the Spirit

NAES GRANT RECIPIENT

Episcopal Day School in Southern Pines, NC was so blessed to receive an NAES grant last year to support our Fruit of the Spirit character education program. Due to finishing the year through virtual learning, we did not get this story out before the end of the year, but we wanted to make sure that a huge THANK YOU went out to NAES because of what the funds allowed.

Each month, our school recognized, celebrates, and teaches about one of the Fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Last year, because of the grant money received, we were able to have printed and supply students and their parents with a fruit of the spirit book mark each month to remind everyone of our values and the way we should live.

I have included a picture of the bookmarks that were able to be supplied before the COVID-19 crisis. What a blessing it is to have NAES support our schools in ways that we can spread who we are, who we want to be, and what we support.
