[Beauvoir School] Voices for Learning: The Beauvoir Center for Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce the 12th Summer Institute for early childhood, elementary and middle school teachers this June and July, 2013. Workshop topics include:
- Differentiation of content and instruction to address the needs of today’s learners
- Literacy and numeracy development to meet the Common Core Standards
- The classroom’s social environment and the schools’ culture to support students’ academic and social learning
- Teaching of mindfulness through thoughts and actions
- Use of picture books to guide inquiry in science
- Exploration of meaningful technology to support young learners
- STEM learning through simple robotics and programming
