2011 Voices for Learning Summer Institute at Beauvoir, the National Cathedral Elementary School, Washington, DC

[Beauvoir, the National Cathedral Elementary School] Beauvoir, the National Cathedral Elementary School in Washington, DC, is pleased to announce the 2011 Voices for Learning Summer Institute for early childhood, elementary, and middle school teachers. A variety of curricular and experiential learning opportunities are offered through its Center for Teaching and Learning. Workshops and courses include:

  • literacy development from phonemic awareness to reading comprehension and writing fluency
  • growing mathematicians by developing a rich landscape of learning
  • the science of learning to understand, instruct, and meet the needs of all learners
  • design of arts-based units of study in all curricular areas.
