[New York, NY] The National Association of Episcopal Schools and Episcopal schools everywhere are praying for all the members of the Episcopal School of Jacksonville community in the wake of this afternoon’s shooting incident.
We are deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of Dale Regan, head of school at Episcopal School of Jacksonville. Our hearts and prayers go out to all members of that community, her family, and her friends. Dale Regan was a great leader of an Episcopal school, deeply devoted to the school that she loved and served for so long, and we have all lost a visionary educator and compassionate human being.
O, God, who by the glorious resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ destroyed death, and brought life and immortality to light: Grant that your servant Dale, being raised with him, may know the strength of his presence, and rejoice in his eternal glory; who with you and the holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever, Amen.
