Religion Curriculum for Episcopal Schools and Churches Now Available from the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools

Canyon, TX—The Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES) has announced the publication of a Religion Curriculum for Episcopal Schools and Churches, written by Douglass Porter, Church of the Holy Comforter, Montgomery, Alabama, and illustrated by Barbara Ball, Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church, Birmingham, Alalbama. For use with early childhood, elementary, and middle school students, the three-part curriculum is available from SAES in both print and CD-ROM editions.

A Light to the Nations: God’s Covenant People, volume one in the series, is an Old Testament curriculum. Mine Eyes Have Seen Thy Salvation, the second volume, focuses on the New Testament. The third volume, for elementary and middle school use only, is entitled Faith Seeking Understanding and is a curriculum for children based on the Catechism from the Book of Common Prayer. Lesson plans in each volume include:
